Georgia (Siron/Hopper Wedding)

Time for our 2nd out of state wedding for May ... The Siron/Hopper wedding in Georgia.  Rachel and I were roommates before our future husbands came along.  We were excited to head to Georgia because neither David nor I had ever been.  David was most excited about getting to see the Forrest Gump bench from the movie.  As soon as we arrived we met up with the groom and we all rode in a taxi to the house we would be staying in for the weekend.  On our way there the cab driver decided to take us on a little tour and went ahead and showed us where the Forrest Gump spot was.  When we got to the spot we didn't see a bench??  David was so disappointed that there wasn't an actual bench there anymore.  We did however make sure to get his picture in the spot where that part of the movie was filmed.  Now you all know what David's favorite movie is ;)

The first day in Georgia the group did a bike tour of Savannah, Georgia.  We all had a really great time getting to see some of the history of the town. 

One thing we were able to see on our tour of the city was the First Girl Scout Headquarters...we had to stop and take a pic for my sister inlaw and nieces :)

Some other things we got to do and see was eat at Paula Deen's famous restaurant Lady and Sons for some yummy southern cooking.

After Paula Deen's we headed on a ghost tour of the city, where the guy actually turned it into a history lesson ;)  So while we were walking through the squares in Savannah, David decided to take out his handy iPhone and see if he could find a ghost app.  David ended up finding an app that had a ghost radar and would tell you where they were or what was haunted.  This became a hit with the group, so David became our very own tour guide...it was rather funny !!!

Well the next day came and we learned something about the groom that day !  Forrest (the groom) was helping with the dishes that morning when all of a sudden someone noticed bubbles coming out of the dishwasher....we found out from his lovely bride Rachel that sometimes he likes to use hand soap in the dishwasher.  We all laughed forever as it continued to make a mess that we had to clean up.

Time for the wedding came and everything was so perfect.  The beautiful bride and groom were married in the courtyard of the house we were staying at.  We went to a lovely reception dinner after, and then cut the cake later that night.  We had a great time and enjoyed all the fun festivities!!  Everything was so perfect and they are now happily married as Mr. & Mrs Hopper :)
