To start this blog I have to apologize...these last few months got a way from me quick!! So these last 2 months of the year will be quick posts with lots of pictures :)
Hunting, Hunting and more Hunting! David and my Brother both got some monster bucks in November, they were pumped.... oh and they got a few coyotes too! This deer season there was definantly a common theme and it was tracking the deer at night with barely any light, but it didn't stop these guys from filling the freezer!
Birthdays filled November, we celebrated Mammaw's birthday, my birthday on Thanksgiving, and then my Mom's birthday. This year my birthday was on Thanksgiving and I love it when that happens because that means I get to spend my day with family and there is nothing better!
I missed some of the hunting this month because I was working Camp Gladiator events and also going to CG Academy which is something all Trainers have to go through before you can get your own camp, it was a busy 2 days...we got in 6 workouts in just 2 days, plus meetings, etc. I can't wait to open my camp the start of 2015!!! Another event was the Bobcat Dash where several of the trainers helped with a fundraiser at an Elementary School in Trophy Club. We got to set up an obstacle course, put Gladiator paint on the kids and then cheer them on as they went through the course. It's so fun seeing the smiles on their face when they accomplish something they are proud of! I love what I get to do and how we get to change lives through Camp Gladiator, excited for what's to come!
Our favorite Aussie family came to visit Texas for a few weeks and thankfully we got a girls dinner in to catch up...can't believe it had been a year since I saw my Keetons. Miss them so much!
My favorite holiday is THANKSGIVING! I love this holiday for so many reasons, but mainly because we get to be with family and just be THANKFUL! No presents or pressure to rush to the stores for gifts....just you, your family/friends, and giving thanks! Truly thankful this year for the good times, and the sad times because they all bring us through the journey we were meant for. Of course we did our annual Turkey Trot and this year was super special because the WHOLE family made it out, even if some didn't run and were in the car eating donuts when Dad and I got done running ;) I'm not naming names though ;) Ok ok you caught me they saved some for Dad and I and of course we indulged after the race.
How could I forget the last day of November which was my Mom's birthday. She got the only gift she wanted this year and that was to make her Christmas card photo! We had so much fun making them, it was touch and go at the beginning with the guys but hey they ended up getting into it at the end and had more fun than anyone (but they won't admit it) ;) ....check out our fun pics!
