Duck Commander & A Louisiana Wedding

I'm not sure if any of you watch Duck Dynasty on A&E?  Well if you don't, you should ;)  David and I got hooked on it from the very beginning.  We definantly started looking forward to every Wednesday night.  The show is about a family who lives in Louisiana, are big duck hunters, and sell all kinds of duck calls.  As soon as we found out where the Duck Commander place was in Louisiana we realized we would be heading to Louisiana in May for Matt and Britney's wedding.  David mapped it out and made sure we would be able to swing through and get to see where the show was filmed and see if they had a store where we could buy a duck call or shirt (and yes for those of you that know me of course I had to buy a T-shirt).  We were however prepared to get there and it look totally different than it does on the show, but to our surprise it looks just like the show.  I felt like we were on the show as soon as we pulled up and David was on cloud 9 before we even went in.
As we pulled up we saw that Jase's truck was out front, and of course we took pictures of it. We then went inside and were looking around at the t-shirts and duck calls they have when all of the sudden some of the guys from the show walked through the building.  I started hitting David to look, and we both were in awe ;)  Not long after that Jase himself walked through too.  The lady at the front desk asked us if we wanted him to sign anything, I told her no and another guy in there said he would like his picture.  You guessed it, we got our camera ready too and were sure to get our own picture with Jase and the gang by the guiness world record duck call.

After we took pictures with the guys David wanted to make an attempt at blowing the enormous duck call (which is impossible I might add).

So after the hype of seeing the Duck Dynasty guys it was time to head to St. Francisville, Louisiana for Britney and Matt's wedding festivities.  Matt was David's old roommate in college and he was also one of the groomsmen at our wedding. The rehearsal dinner was Friday night and then Saturday we were able to do a little sight seeing before the wedding, so we went to LSU and saw the home of the Tigers.   The wedding was at a beautiful plantation mansion where it had been raining all weekend, so everyone was praying the rain would hold off and it did ! The whole wedding was so beautiful and we had a great time !  CONGRATS to the new Mr. & Mrs. Matt Felder!
