Baby Whitehead joining "The Team" July 2015

Yep you read the title of this blog right! We are PREGNANT and beyond excited to be preparing for a little one in July! 

We can't thank you all enough for those of you that have been praying for us and baby Whitehead.  This summer we were hit with a miscarriage which got us down and rocked our world, but we kept moving forward thanking God for even blessing us with that opportunity and thanking God for the lessons we learned through it all.  God has been faithful all along and has provided us again with the opportunity to bring a little into this world.  GOD IS GOOD!

I'm just now 12 weeks along and thankful to almost have the 1st trimester behind us, although things have not been too bad (thank goodness), just a little nausea and some bad migraines.   David may disagree with that comment, but he has been awesome taking care of me when I don't feel good!
We got to hear baby Whitehead's heartbeat twice so far and both times it was strong!  Praise God!
This is the only picture we have right now, but should have another one in March.  This picture was about 7 weeks along.

We will definantly keep everyone updated on how things are going, but I can tell you right now that Baby W is so lucky and blessed to have you all in his or her life already!  So mark your calendars for July...we can't wait!!!! :)

2014 Comes To An End

Well the last month of 2014 came and went, we were speeding right through it. 
Whitey went shopping a little before Christmas and found just what he wanted Santa to bring him, but he couldn't wait to find it Christmas morning under the tree so he got his present a little early.  He was like a kid getting his first Red Ryder BB gun.  He is now ready he says to ride with the big boys!! 

Someone else also got an early Christmas present...my brother got a dog named Ruger!  We have all fallen in love with him, but Uncle David really loves him!

More hunting happened in December and boy did we have fun, even if I didn't bring home a trophy
buck this year, along with the guys.  It's not always about the trophy or the prize....it's about more than that, it's about the time in God's country, time with family and just enjoying things at a slower pace being grateful for what God has given us. 

David's birthday was this month and we got a quick celebration in before I had to head to Austin for the week.  We don't even remember how old we are anymore...ha ha I always heard my parents say how that happens, but it's so true :)  Then again, age is just a number ;) HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID!

After that I headed down to Austin for our Annual CG Next which was so much fun being with all the trainers, and learning so much to get us fired up for 2015!  We also have an awards banquet, talent show, etc....so much fun! 

Christmas came quick ....we celebrated with family after family after family!  I love being with family this time of year, nothing better!  Mel, Dale and the kids got to come in town for a week, but the week went too fast...we can't wait until they are back for good this summer!  Here are some pictures from all our family get togethers over the holiday.
